Memorial Day fun Part 2

Memorial Day weekend in Charlotte was a blast. Thanks Uncle and Aunt Cellon for letting me come visit. Mommy and Daddy stayed in the same room with me and I only woke them up a few times. Overall, we had a lot of fun.

These next few pics are from a park off of the Greenway, a trail going through north charlotte that is awesome. We walked for almost an hour and then played on the swings for awhile and had a cookout. Awesome day with the Cellon clan.
I love to swing.

Cutest Baby EVER. Sorry everyone....You can try for second though ;).

Silly Uncle Johnny...he put Holly (the dog) in the swing next to me. I thought it was very funny though!

Memorial day Fun Part 1

Happy Memorial Day everyone!

I felt very festive in my outfit by my Grandma P.
Grammie and Grandpa C loving on me

Mullet head

This is Jonathan's wig that Blair decided to try on for size. What do you think? It was Nascar Coca-cola something or other at the Speedway in Charlotte that weekend....let's just say I bet there were people there looking just like this!!!

Memorial Day weekend at Aunt Linz and Uncle Johnny's

Ready for church Mom! This is the too cute dress Grammie C gave me- do you like my piggies?
Grammie and me. Mommy put all my hair in a big girl ponytail.
Aunt Linz and I reading something about monkeys in Spanish. Aunt Linz is awesome at reading spanish.....I am going to learn quick so I can be smart like her.
I like the monkey heads. My ponytail was hanging on for dear life at this point ;).

Hello everyone- just wanted to show you how big I am getting! We had to move the exersaucer up a notch so she could fit in it. Way to go Miss Bailey. Are you going to take after your daddy?

Blanket hidding

Can you find my leg? I am hiding from my Mommy :)
There are both my legs!
I'm coming out
There I am Mommy. She did this all herself today. I was lucky to catch it with the camera. She is really rolling all over the place now. If she can't get to somewhere by rolling, she will just pull the blanket to help her achieve her goal toy:).

Where is my toy?

Where did my toy go? This was so funny...Bailey was playing and I look over and her little deer head is stuck to her hair. LOL.

Haha Mommy....I thought that was funny too :). She really is getting a hilarious personality. She seems to like girlie things. She doesn't pull her hair bows out, keeps her shoes on and actually likes me to cut her nails. Most baby girls her age will not tolerate most of that. We will see what happens as she gets older. Could be she just hasn't figured out she could pull her bows out!

My funny Daddy

What is the greatest toy to me? My Daddy, of course! Bailey thinks here Daddy is so funny. Every night he makes her laugh after dinner and gives her the dreaded hiccups. Silly Daddy. They seem to have a lot of fun together.

My new toy

Bailey really likes her newest toy, the Johnny JumpUp. It gives Mommy a few minutes to put the dishes away or start dinner.

Beach Day

Bailey asleep....it is a miracle!!! ;)
We all love to walk at the beach

Bailey's first steps in the sand..she loved this, but...

hated this! The water was a little chilly and boy o' boy, she was not a fan. I am sure we will come back when the water is warmer and she will love it up. All in all, we all got some sun (except Miss Bailey who was sun-proofed) and some exercise. Walking with Bailey in the baby carrier on sand is a dang good workout! It is like wearing a 20lb pack.

Tickle Me Elmo

This is Bailey dancing away!

Bailey loves her new 'tickle me elmo'. She dances along with him. Pretty awesome stuff.

I love outside

It was so nice outside today...Bailey enjoyed her first stroll outside with Daddy. She loves to be on your shoulders, but also loves to yank the hair!!!! Ouch for Mommy. Everyday she comes closer to crawling. She is rolling all over the place to get to where she wants to go.

Sunny Day

It is a beautiful, sunny day here in NC. Bailey and I enjoyed some time outside. We looked at the trees, felt the grass and heard the birds. We are still working on the crawling thing...she was trying to get to the grass but just pulled the blanket out of her way to get to it instead of crawling :). I know she will do things on her own time. It was nice to finally get to enjoy our backyard. I can foresee lots of fun times spent back here in the years to come.

My First Foods

My first sweet potatoes!
Avocado...yumm-o

Bailey is now eating bananas (her very first food she did not react to), avocados and sweet potatoes. Overall, it is going better then I anticipated- and she loves her food!. Her reflux is somewhat worse with the foods, but seems to get better with time. Rice and Oatmeal did not pass. We will try homemade rice cereal in a few weeks or so. I am making all her food at home to avoid any additives. The citric acid that they add to most jarred baby food really seems to affect her reflux. So far, it has been pretty easy to make the foods she is eating.

Yummy Daddy

Bailey loves to gum her daddy, especially his chin. Does he taste good Bailey?
Guess so!
