Week of Fun

Last week was a good one visiting with my Mom. She is scheduled to stay until next Sunday...my Dad will be back from Ohio in a few days and be here for the conclusion as well. We will greatly miss all the help when they leave. I know Bailey will miss having her Grandma and Grandpa around to play with her!

We took our first trip to the O'Club pool this summer last week. Bailey had a blast with her friends Jace and Jonathan. She even kept her hat on for her Mommy most of the time ;). Now if we can just get her and Jace to stop trying to catch and eat the bugs.......

Taylor 4 weeks

It is hard to believe that Taylor is 4 weeks old today. She has been such a joy to have as a daughter already and has just fit in our family extremely well. Nursing is almost problem free at this point, for which I never thought would happen and has made all of our lives much happier :). Taylor continues to be a very good baby...it amazes me on a hourly basis how different Bailey and Taylor have been as babies. I have no idea how much Taylor weighs, but I do know she is really starting to look huge! She is a lot longer then Bailey was and seems to be gaining weight very well.
our next Dr.'s appt. isn't for another month though. My Mom and Dad are currently in town for awhile and they both have been a big help. I just love being a Mommy to two precious girls!

Here are some pics of some backyard fun a few days ago. Taylor had fun just chillin and Bailey loved playing in her "pool" again. We are working on getting her a real pool...I promise!

3 weeks

Taylor is 3 weeks old today! I went to my first playdate with two kiddos and it well except that Bailey was a little cranky. She seems to be sleeping less and just overall a little off lately. Not sure if it is teething, the baby or what. Life is rough as a 20 month old!

Taylor continues to do fantastically. She is nursing better every day and hardly ever cries. She likes to be held, but will allow us to put her down at times. She sleeps about a 4 1/2- 5hour stretch at night already which allows me a 4 hour block of sleep myself most nights. Already outgrowing her newborn clothes, I wouldn't be surprised if she is over 9lbs by now :). I look forward to putting her in all her cute summer outfits once it warms up just a tad. It has been interesting having to put "bows" in her hair instead of barretts. Bailey had 10x the hair Taylor has at this point. So far, no signs of food allergies AT ALL with Taylor. I am still avoiding all dairy and obvious egg just in case though.

Cousins!

Jonathan, Lindsay and Alice came for a quick visit last weekend. We had fun just hanging out with all the babies! Alice is exactly 3months older then Taylor. Bailey is 20 months, Alice 3 1/2 and Taylor 2 weeks in these pics. It was fun hanging out as two "families" for the first time!

Taylor is 2 weeks old!

Today Taylor turned 2 weeks old! We had a visit to the doctor and she weighed 8lbs 70z! M ost babies only get back to their birth weight at this point, but Taylor is above hers by more than a pound!! The doctor said she looked great.

Fun Day

Today I got my first taste of what it was like to be home alone with 2 under 2. Overall, it went well. We will repeat tomorrow as well (Blair has to go into work for a couple of hours). Hopefully, it will go just as well :). Taylor has been so content I wonder sometimes if something is wrong!! Bailey was always quick to let us know exactly what she needed. Taylor hardly fusses and just loves being around everyone. I pray this continues as she gets past the newborn sleepiness stage.

6 Days old :)

We received some excellent news today. Taylor's bilirubin has actually gone down and her weight is now 7lb 9oz!!! Most babies are doing well to re-reach their birth weight at 2weeks and she has done it at 5 days old!
