Take-OUT!

There is a thing called Online curbside take-out at Outback. It is directly from Heaven. You order online (and they ask if you want no butter, ranch dsg, etc.) and then you select the time you want to pick your food up. You then drive to Outback park and wait until they bring you your made-to order meal right to your car! With a 1 yr old and 2 yr old, this is the only dining-out experience we get around here without going to Chick-Fil-A. I ordered a 9oz steak, veggies (no butter) and a salad. The meal came with bread and fed us all (Bailey ate more steak then i did!) for $14. Not too bad considering I didn't have to cook or clean up...:). I don't make steak when Blair is gone due to not knowing how to work the grill, so this was a "different" meal then we have been eating.

Barnett Reunion

We had a blast at the Barnett Family Reunion on July 3rd in Indianapolis, Indiana. Not everyone was able to attend, but it was great seeing everyone...most I hadn't seen in 4 years! (Pre-babies!) Above is the whole clan that was able to attend.

Bonnie Barnett Patterson's Family (my Mom) minus Travis, Natalie and Blair
Jim Barnett Family

Tom Barnett family minus Jeff and Jackie and all the grandkids

Dave Barnett Family all present :)

Jack Barnett Family minus Becky, Ralph, Kerry and the grandkids

The Fab Five. Younest (my mom) to oldest (Uncle Jack). Looking good Barnetts!

PS- 2 thoughts....one: The Barnett clan is TALL. Like, really, really tall. What happened to me?
two: Ever wonder what it would be like to grow up with 4 OLDER brothers? Yea, don't.

Cellon Matching Day :)

A couple weeks ago I bought Bailey the below outfit (it is from Gymboree) at a consignment store...I had been looking at it for a couple months and since it had been there so long the price was an extra 50% off! I love it. I decided to put Taylor in a similar outfit and then Blair and I matched accordingly. I thought we looked so cute!
Sweet sisters being silly

Get her Taylor!

My precious girls.

Man, do we miss you Daddy!

++On a side note, I also wore this dress the day that Blair graduated from boot camp (summer of 2002)....It brought back a bunch of memories of that year and how "hard" I thought it was for Blair to be gone for 3 months for boot camp. I am glad the Lord didn't tell me then what we have had and are continuing to go through as far as deployments!++

Mike's Farm

We took Blair's parents to Mike's Farm the night before Blair left. It is located out in Richlands and has the same menu year round. My favs are the fried chicken, mac n cheese, corn, green beans and ham biscuits with honey. The food was great, but the children were a little chaotic....we ended up eating quickly and then going to see the "animals"

Workout Helper

+++ I am trying to update all my pics from the past couple months. I am starting from the most recent to least recent. Please be patient as my "free" time is non-exsistent now :)+++

Here is Taylor helping her Daddy workout before he leaves...

Peek-a-boo!
I see you!

Daddy, you don't mind if I use you as a jungle gym, right?

Deployment Day

Deployment day came around 1pm on Friday. We have been so thankful Blair has been able to spend a year at home. Now into our 3rd deployment, we are aware of the struggles of deployments....we are just hoping to survive the best we can through this one. Thank you all for your prayers. Please continue to pray for Blair (he has arrived safetly to Afganistan), me and the girls. Single parenting is no joke...I have a newfound appreciation for Single moms now! Here are some pics of our last few moments for awhile..
PS- If you would like Blair's deployed address, send me an email (or leave a comment with yours) and I will get it to you along with a list of things he says he will need.

Tales and I trying to keep busy..

Taylor looking at her Daddy and the gun. "What in the world is going on here people?"

Two of a kind

Kisses! (I think some of the best kisses come from my Bales)

Can you tell it was a little warm outside?

Taylor *thankfully* took a little snooze. Nothin like waiting for 3 hours for your husband to deploy in 90 degree weather without entertainment...

My sweetie and I :)

Blair and his parents. They graciously came up and staying in Jacksonville for a few days to spend time with him and see him off. They were an immense help to me as well with the girls. Thank you!

Awwww....

Family of Four pic with everyone looking forward. Can't ask for more then that at this season in life! I am so glad we were able to get one before he went.

We're Back :)

We had an awesome time on a week long (KID FREE) cruise, visiting family and spending a week in Tampa while Blair had to work on MacDill. We are back in Lejeune and enjoying our last final days together for awhile and getting in touch with friends (see above :)).

My Purpose

Matthew 22:36-40 (New International Version)
36"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'[a] 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[b] 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Precious

I love these two more then anything in the world!

80s night

I had the great fun of going down to Wilmington with three of my awesome girlfriends a couple weeks ago for Melting Pot's 80's night. We received free drinks (tea) and free chocolate! There is a pic of all 4 of us floating around....I'll have to get it from my friend :) This was my first Melting Pot experience and I thought it was a blast- especially with a group! My favorite? The spinach artichoke fondue.

No, I'm not pregnant...

My friend forwarded this to me...... thought it was hilarious. I am like the most un-crafty person ever, but I did create (along with Blair and God...) two precious girls :).

Hello? Jace- I miss you! (She is either always talking to Jace or Grandma/Papa)

Taylor- here...yout talk to Grandma!

I'm gonna get you.....

Both the girls know how to use their play phones. Bailey can carry on a full play conversation. What is our cell phone bill going to be in a few years ?!?!?!

Bowling Fun

Bailey was invited to a Birthday bowling party last weekend. We all had a blast (thanks Gracie for letting us come!). Bailey liked bowling for a short while and then went to sit with the food.....must not take after her Mommy on this one :) (PS- bowled in league throughout elementary school).

Here is Bailey and Daddy giving it a whirl
