Sesame Street LIVE!

Today we were able to go to Sesame Street LIVE put on by the USO on base.  We have had the tickets and the girls were super excited.  The show had a “military” theme of moving/transition.  Unfortunately, the volume was very low and we weren’t able to follow the story very well.  The girls overall had a blast and we made good memories!

They gave out these moving glow-in the dark light saber things…totally cool!!

Strawberry Farm

Today the whole family headed to a local strawberry farm and picked tons of fresh, pesticide-free, red, juicy strawberries!  So much fun!

Here are the girls getting ready…

Swimming Lessons

I apologize for the extremely long absence in blogging so far this year!  We were extremely busy the first 3 months of the year getting our house ready to be put on the market.  On March 5th it officially went For Sale and now we have been just as busy keeping it in “show-ready” condition with 2 little girls :).

The girls took individual swimming lessons a few weeks ago at the indoor pool on base.  They both improved by the end of the week and loved every minute!  I love that they love the water :).  Bailey can now swim several feet and Tales is jumping in all by herself!  We will continue to work with them this summer.

Papa and Grammie love

This was the day we left Florida after 2 weeks of visiting.  The girls didn’t want to go back home!

Gainesville visit

We enjoyed our time in Gainesville!  The weather was warm and finally sunny to get outside.  We enjoyed a "Sara Princess” cake for my birthday, lots of cousin time and a trip to the Sante Fe zoo.

Christmas Day 2011

We enjoyed a great Christmas day at my parent’s house.  For the first time both girls were old enough to get “santa”.   We enjoyed leaving Santa milk and cookies, setting up the presents and stockings for in the morning.  The girls were astounded when they awoke and kept saying “this is SO perfect!”.  They loved all their presents and enjoyed spending time with everyone so much (we did too!).

Crestview Visit

We had a good visit to Crestview the week before Christmas! We arrived on my birthday and I was taken out to one of my favorite places, Song’s Korean. I was able to get full day of outlet shopping in, Blair went fishing with my dad and Blair and I went out with some friends sans kiddos! Here are a few other highlights:

“Barbie” grandma watching a Barbie movie with the girls.

Fishing! The girls have their own poles at my parent’s house and enjoyed fishing several afternoons with Daddy! No catches this year for them though….
