Today we celebrated the last day of school!
Here are the girls on their first day of the 2011-2012 school year:
Here they are today! (their picture taking skills have NOT improved ..haha.).
They both loved going to school this year. We plan on putting them both in a MWF schedule next year. I love that this will be our 3rd year at the same preschool….even with all the changes with Daddy’s schedule, possibly moving on base and just daily military life their school is staying the same. Yay!
BFF’s Emma and Bailey. I am sad that they won’t be in the same class next year . They had an ice cream party today to celebrate a great school year!
On April 29th, my baby turned 3! My parent’s came up for a visit and we had a blast (although missed Daddy very much).
Taylor is such a sweet girl and literally has me rolling on the floor every day at the funny things she does/say. She is a very determined and tough girl. She has grown so much the past couple months and now wears 4T clothing and size 8 shoes. She is about 35 pounds…we will get her stats next week at the doctor’s office. She is able to count from 1-10 (after many a month working on that pesky number 4), but still struggles with learning her letters. We try to “learn” everyday a little more….she is not a big fan of learning right now :). She loves to snuggle, watch Barbie movies, play with Bailey and play dress-up. You will rarely find her without jewelry :). She loves Jesus and enjoys singing and reading her bible stories. Her favorite foods are mac n cheese and ChickFilA nuggets and fries. She is a fantastic eater and loves most veggies and fruit. Give the girl some hummus and celery and she will go to town!
Happy Birthday Tales. We all love you!
Taylor opening presents…
and Bailey “helping”. lol :)
Today we were able to go to Sesame Street LIVE put on by the USO on base. We have had the tickets and the girls were super excited. The show had a “military” theme of moving/transition. Unfortunately, the volume was very low and we weren’t able to follow the story very well. The girls overall had a blast and we made good memories!
They gave out these moving glow-in the dark light saber things…totally cool!!
Elmo and Mommy are looking. Yay!
Dancing with Elmo! They both were getting SO into it :)
On a side note….can you believe Tales is turning 3 in 5 days!?! Where did the time go?
Today the whole family headed to a local strawberry farm and picked tons of fresh, pesticide-free, red, juicy strawberries! So much fun!
Here are the girls getting ready…
With their “Easter” baskets to put the strawberries in :)
Bailey making sure the berries are good…
Taylor didn’t like the strawberries at all…… ;)>
So good!
Our bounty….over 10lbs worth :).
PS- after sharing with some friends…we are almost done with the white bucket. Yummy!
I apologize for the extremely long absence in blogging so far this year! We were extremely busy the first 3 months of the year getting our house ready to be put on the market. On March 5th it officially went For Sale and now we have been just as busy keeping it in “show-ready” condition with 2 little girls :).
The girls took individual swimming lessons a few weeks ago at the indoor pool on base. They both improved by the end of the week and loved every minute! I love that they love the water :). Bailey can now swim several feet and Tales is jumping in all by herself! We will continue to work with them this summer.
We enjoyed our time in Gainesville! The weather was warm and finally sunny to get outside. We enjoyed a "Sara Princess” cake for my birthday, lots of cousin time and a trip to the Sante Fe zoo.
After Christmas at the Patterson’s, we enjoyed Christmas at the Cellon’s with cousins. Such fun! (4 girls 4 and under :)).
