Hanging out
Daddy and Me
Daddy and me playing:)
Bailey has taken to her daddy very well over the past few days. Blair has gotten a taste of what life is like with a baby. She has had a couple of rough nights (6month shots are a killer!), and he has handled it all very well. He even gave Bailey her bath last night with bedtime bottle. They are just too cute together.

Daddy's HOME!

1 hour to go!
Sitting at the computer with my make-up done, hair in curlers and waiting to get all dressed up. Just awaiting the call from Blair saying that they have landed. These last few hours have been sooo hard! Shot, this last hour is going to be tough if he doesn't call soon. It should be any minute now. Let us pray they are not running late. The weather here is clear and cool (45 deg). I am happy it isn't raining though. Bailey is asleep in her crib.....I can't wait for her daddy to meet her. We are going to try and get some pictures, but not sure how many people will be there.
Well, better go and finish getting ready. Trying to keep myself occupied. I will update the post asap with reunion pics:).

Happy Day
Blair is coming home in a matter of hours. Christ is risen and we are good. I am so thankful that the Lord has gotten us through the past 7 months. I have had tremendous support from my family and friends.....but frankly, only the Lord has kept me from going completely insane (as I am sure I was partly there already ;)).
Blair called last night as he was leaving Kuwait. They had a long day of travels ahead, but he was very anxious to see his little girl. He did say that he got to shower (thank you Lord), but has worn the same clothes for awhile. He also forewarned me that his sea bag is full of stinkiness (I have been advised by other wives to not open this bag if I ever want to stay a marine wife- this bag alone has been the undoing of careers due to it's Iraq crud x 7months stink). We will see. Thank goodness our laundry room is in the garage.

Gator Brainwashing
Today Bailey watched a Gator video one of our friends gave us (thanks kit and kim!). It was so awesome. It is funny how we start brainwashing our kids so early on. She already has several outfits that are UF related, she watched EVERY football game since she was born (well-she watched the first of the season in mom's belly and then caught the rest on TV), and has been shown the Gator chomp a hundred times by now. I try and remind myself that she may not want to go to UF when she gets older and am actually O.K. with that. However, isn't it amazing that we are not O.K. with our children going to THAT school (ie- FSU). I would seriously cry if we had to send money there :0. Hopefully over time I (and Blair, and the whole Cellon clan) would get over myself and support my daughter anyway. But really, would God do that to us?????? :). Just a thought.
Daddy comes home in less than 4 days!!!!! We have outfits picked, hair appointments made and meals planned. We are only missing the Marine. We look forward to going to the Orange and Blue game in Gainesville on leave and brainwashing our daughter in person. LOL.

Car People
I am so thankful to God for guys that are willing to help with cars. I am sooooo uninterested in fixing, dealing with or even cleaning a vehicle. Blair's suv has had some issues the past several weeks with it resulting last week of not starting AT ALL. Our friend Jason did his best to get it going, but it become obvious that it was more complicated than just a battery or starter issue. I put a plea out for help during Sunday School to see if anyone could come by and take a look being it that I couldn't even get the car started to take it somewhere. Josh Zaffos volunteered. He had recently gotten back from deployment and I had only met him a time of two. He came by (tools in hand :)), took a quick look, ran to the store and put new a new connector and alternator cable in and VIOLA.....it started right up. Less than an hour later and with only $10, my problems solved. WHEW....what a relief. It is amazing what God will use to bless another. (let us just pray it continues to start:)......Only 7 days till the big day now!)

Play Bailey
Only 9 more days until Daddy comes home. We are all very excited.
hiccup roll-over Bailey
Here is Bailey with the hiccups and then rolling over. This is a very deliberate roll-over :). She was immediately moving off her belly, now will stay and enjoy the "belly time" for awhile.

12 more days!
Last time Blair saw Bailey this is what she looked like! 12 pounds skinnier :)

Blair and I at our favorite place: Sonny's BBQ
Probably how Blair remembers me. 75lbs+more than I weigh now.
This is Allison (Jace-Bailey's boyfriend is in her belly :)) I was due 3 weeks ahead of Allison, but Bailey came 3 weeks early and Jace a week late-so they ended up being 6 weeks apart.
Today Blair found out he is coming home March 23rd. This is a few days before we originally thought. Of course, with all things military: "It is subject to change"! With Blair coming back I have been doing a lot of thinking over the past year. It is hard to remember how life was like when he was here and even harder to guess how life will be now that he is here with Bailey and I. It is almost like I have two seperate lives. One with Bailey and one with Blair. I am sure most military spouses feel this way. Here are some pics that sparked my memories.

Trip to the mall with the Girls
Bailey and I went shopping with my friend Heather and her daughter Madelyn today in Wilmington. Finally I found an outfit to wear for when Blair comes home. We enjoyed a fun-filled day of girl time. I also thoroughly enjoyed some McAllister's Sweet tea. Haven't had that since Gainesville! Yumm-O.

2nd Radio BN Homecoming
Today was the day that Blair's home unit, 2nd Radio BN come home from Iraq. It was nice to see several of Blair's friends arrive home safe. Bailey and I waited with some friends and watched them "re-unite". We look forward to doing the same in a few short weeks.

Nice day
Today we dropped Grandma and Grandpa Patterson off at the airport. It was sad to see them go. We will see them again soon though once daddy comes home! Grandpa bought me an easter bunny- here are some pics with me playing with it.
Talked to Blair today. He said things are going well and he is looking forward to coming home very soon now.

Happy 6 month birthday to me!
Today is my 6th month birthday. We go to the doctor on Thursday and will find out how much I weigh and my height. I am getting big though..I have outgrown over 1/2 of my 3-6 month clothes already. Grandma and Grandpa Patterson were here to celebrate with me. We played lots today with all my favorite toys and went out to eat to Mommy's favorite restaurant, Olive Garden.

Grandma and Grandpa visit with me
Thursday, February 28, 2008
Cute pic back from Valentine's day that Grandma Cellon sent me. We are headed to the doctor today to get some feedback on all of her ongoing issues. Her reflux/ ecsema are still there and keep flaring up. We will see what the doctor says. I just want my little girl to not be in pain so much. Grandma and Grandpa Patterson are headed to NC tomorrow. We are soooo excited. Looks like they are bringing the warmer weather too. It was a brisk 25 degrees here this morning. During our walking group, I lost feeling in my legs :). Bailey was nice and warm in her fleece snowsuit and JJCole carseat bundle thing. She was too cute-slept the whole walk. Wouldn't it be nice to be like that as an adult? Have someone wheel you around when you are completely bundled up and warm? Sounds good to me.

Lazy Sunday
Today Bailey and I "took it easy". We only went to Sunday School and she stayed with me during that due to us both still fighting a cold. Here are several pics from today that were too cute. Hopefully we will both be better soon. We are excited to see Grandma and Grandpa Patterson on Friday!! Only 5 more days to go.

Sleep and Sickness
Today was an even better day for sleep. Bailey slept from 7pm-6am straight. Took two 1 1/2 hour naps and 1 45min nap. So, that is sooooo good. However, during the day she has not been so happy (does a baby ever have both? this child either is happy and no sleep or sleeps and is not happy). I have figured she is teething. EVERYTHING goes into her mouth today. She ate a receipt at Target while I was talking to Blair on the phone. Oops. She had half of it in a mess of wet paper over her mouth. Hopefully ink isn't something she is allergic too :(). I am praying teething only lasts a few days.
So, we have been on the "allergen free" diet for 8 days now. I am feeling sick again though. This is what happened last time. I made it a week and then bam, sick. I don't know if it is my immune system, just "coincidence", something I am eating that I am allergic to but didn't know, or the devil. It is really frustrating. Going to bed early tonight to help ward off any severe symptoms. Right now, it feels as if it is just "allergies" (itchy eyes, scratchy throat, fluid in ears)- however I don't have allergies. Weird huh?

Hallelujah!
Bailey slept from 7pm to 6:30am straight. Oh my goodness. I feel like a new woman. It is so wonderful to wake up refreshed. Even Snickers feels better for all the non-interrupted rest ;).
Not only that, but she has now been asleep for her morning nap for about 1 1/2 hours. Seriously folks, this is UNHEARD of for this child. Who knew that food allergies could disrupt every aspect of a poor baby's life? If these are the results to avoiding all these foods, I will gladly do it!
Praise the Lord for such a good morning. It is sunny, a brisk 50 degrees outside (which I happen to love) and a perfect day for a long walk. Only 37 more days until Mr. Blair comes home. Countdown is approaching soon. Thank you everyone who has been praying for us during this time.
