We so enjoyed having “barbie” Grammie and “fishy” Papa come visit for Thanksgiving.  We ate lots of yummy food, played outside and enjoyed several outings.  I even got to go on an extended girl’s date night to an awesome restaurant!   Thanks guys for coming.  We miss you already.

BIG baby news…….

We are still a little shocked, but couldn’t be more excited.  Either way, a healthy baby is the goal Smile.  Blair was able to hear the news live at the ultrasound when I did.  Technology is so amazing.  I have an extra dvd of the appt. to send to him Smile.   Boy oh Boy oh Boy…..wow.

Mike’s Farm with the BFF’s.

Tonight we headed to Mike’s Farm to eat (yumm-o!), ride the hayride and pick out some pumpkins with the girl’s best friends.  Bethany’s Mom and Dad are in town and so is my cousin Alexis.  We ended up having 5 adults and 5 children (ages 6,5,4,3 and almost 2).  Great ratios !  The girls had a ton of fun and the weather could not have been nicer.  Cool, but not cold.

My squishy Bales.  She was SO excited the whole time we were there.  Poor Alexis had to follow her around the whole patch to find the “perfect” pumpkin.

The crazy crew

It was a long weekend last weekend for the military (one of the few jobs that you get off for Columbus day!).  We spent the weekend hanging out and finally organizing our home to my specifications (it has only been 4 months since moving in. lol).

Here is Bailey’s glove feet.  Silly girl.

Here is Tales wearing a swimsuit, tiara and high heels with her animals.  This isn’t what you wear to organize your closet?!

Winter clothes are in the closets and Taylor’s “too small” clothes are packed to go to the cousins.  Overall, it was a productive, relaxing weekend!

The day.

This was the day.  The dreaded day since we found out he would be leaving late last year.  He has been settled now for about 6 weeks and is doing well.  We are finally adjusted to everything and are starting to thrive instead of just survive. lol.   I have felt like a crazy person, but I guess selling your home (for a loss Sad smile), moving the girls and I alone, a deployment and a 3rd pregnancy all within 2 months will do that to a person.  Please continue to pray for Blair and our family when you think of it.  We find out the gender on Oct. 19th Smile.

On one of our last days, we went bowling.  The girls played the “hunting” game with Daddy Smile.

Daytona Beach Aug 2012

We had the honor of joining some of our best friends, Jeremy and Rebekah in Daytona Beach for 24 hours.  They live in Arizona, so we don’t get to see them as often as we like.  This was a KID FREE event Smile.  We enjoyed lounging on the beach, long walks, pool dips, Aunt Catfish’s food, and shopping.  So relaxing.  Thanks guys for the great treat!

Here is Blair and I before we went out to eat.

First Day of PreK for Bales

Bailey’s Pre-K class started while we were in FL.  Her first day was on Monday the 17th Smile.  Here are some pictures that we took that morning.  She has LOVED going the past few days.  Taylor and I are starting to get into a routine ourselves while she is gone.  Taylor will be going to the cdc on base 1-2x/week to get some school time herself Smile.

Silly faces!  Don’t they look so big?!

Taylor’s Best Day Ever

I promise to try and update the blog from the past couple months…starting with the most recent events Smile.   We left the Cellon’s on Sunday morning after Poppy’s memorial service to visit with my parents for a couple days.  On the last day we were there we took them to some friends of my parent’s that have horses.  They girls were able to feed them, ride them and brush them.  They even got to take a tour of the horse trailer.  Both girls loved it, but Tales especially was in horse heaven!

After the horse riding fun we took a rest on Mr. Jim’s new swing.

PS- both girls have on their “horse” shirts!

Poppy

The past couple weeks have been very difficult for the Cellon/Thomas family.  We lost the patriarch, Richard David Thomas (aka Poppy) on Sept. 5th.  He was a great man of faith, former Marine, extremely hard worker and beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  The girls and I were able to come down on the 2nd and visit with him until he passed.  I am so thankful that Blair was able to talk with him via phone to say his last words.  God has been good through it all and we know without a doubt that Poppy is in heaven.

Princess Stitches

This morning I decided to re-arrange our living room to make it seem “larger”….while taking a lamp out to the garage Bailey ran in from the other direction right into an edge of the lamp.  She ended up with a gash on her lip that went all the way through Sad smile.  She was a champ and held her bandages to her lip the whole way to the ER.  Luckily, a friend met us in the parking lot of the hospital and took Tales for a couple hours!

IMG_0527

Bailey and I waiting for the doctor to do stiches.  They did not use any Novocain, rather just this bandage soaked in a numbing solution.  Pretty cool!

IMG_0528

Bailey received 3 stitches and did FANTASTIC!  She had to lay very still with a towel draped over her head (she couldn’t see).  The doctor took his time to try and get it perfect since it was on her face.  Couldn’t have been prouder of her.  She wanted to go to Rita’s afterward…after not eating since breakfast at 8am, by 3:30pm I was ready to get here whatever she wanted!

IMG_0529IMG_0536

Eventually I did get the living room re-arranged.  I got rid of one of our end tables and moved the couch around.  At least you can walk around the whole room now.  Hopefully buyers will agree!
