Taylor 3 months

Taylor turned 3 months old last week! It is so hard to believe my little baby girl is so big already. Taylor, you are:

-One of the easiest, most content babies ever!
-sleeping from 7:30pm-around 7am.
-nursing every 2 1/2-3 hours during the day. You still take a bottle well too :)
-Allergic to Milk and Egg (confirmed again this week)
-Love to look at your big sister and follow her around the room with your eyes.
-You roll over as soon as I put you on your belly
-Still sleep all swaddled up and you seem to really like that. Otherwise, you flail your arms about.
-Are becoming a big talker and love when someone sits and talks with you!

Odle Time

The Odle Clan (Loretta is my cousin) is here in NC vacationing in Emerald Isle. They came over last night to hang out and go to dinner. We had a blast! Bailey loved all the attention, Taylor was able to get some social time in with other people then me and Blair and I got some much needed adult conversation in. Thanks guys for a great night!

CVS DEALS for FREE!!!

This was today's successes! I am loving all these Back to School deals. In total, I GOT paid $2 to buy all of this:
Toothpaste, tampons, hairspray, cheerios, deoderant, razor blades, mini stapler, 2notebooks, 2 "cases", 48 pencils, 8 nice pens, erasers and binder clips!!

Got your Hat?

Bailey LOVES this old cookie-dough container bowl. Ever since she found it in the Tupperware cabinet, she wears it as a hat. I thought this morning it was extra cute with the pigtails.

Happy Saturday! It is 1000 am and all housework and yardwork is done and we look forward to a nice, relaxing day full of fun!

Rain, Rain Go Away

This morning we were able to hit the pool with Jace and Allison, but this afternoon has been full of rain and thunder :(. We are enjoying an afternoon of napping (well the girls both took good naps while I did laundry) and baking homemade bread in my new (well new to me :)) bread machine! We'll see how it turns out in about an hour.....it sure does smell good though.

Here is my precious 12 week old Taylor. She has a big bald spot in the back of her head and has a very bad receeding hairline. Bailey didn't lose one single hair, so this is all new to me. Poor Taylor...she looks a little like a cancer patient at this point ;).

Bailey started her day like this- obviously teething (see tongue rubbing on teeth) and quite fussy. She was even laying down watching TV (she never does this!)

This is a little while later after we both had read God's Word. Joy!

Dear Daughters

Bailey and Taylor,
You are the best baby girls a Mommy could ask for.

Bailey (22mo)- you have really started to shine lately. You can now say all your ABC's and count to 10. You know your shapes too! We are working hard on your colors, but you still call everything "G--eeen". You just started sleeping from 7:30pm-8ish in the morning, instead of waking up before 6:30am. You take a 1 1/2 nap after lunch. You love all books right now, especially your book about Dinosaurs from the library. I am really trying to be the best example of a Godly Mommy I can be as you have started emulating my every move. You help with supper, vaccum and swiffer the floors as well as "spit" in the sink after we brush our teeth! Perhaps the most fun thing of all lately has been your love of hugs and kisses. You will say "HUG", open your arms and give me the biggest hug ever. Thank you my precious baby girl. Mommy loves you more than words can say.

Taylor (11weeks)- You are one of the most content and smiley babies I have ever seen. You love to talk and try to catch my attention every minute so you have someone to talk to. You love to sleep and have just started sleeping from 7:30pm-6:30ish am! This is something your big sister did not do for a long time. Mommy doesn't mind getting up in the middle of the night, but it is so nice to wake up in the morning to your smiley face all rested! You continue to take your 45minutes naps several times a day and normally go down without a fuss. You rolled over a few weeks ago at 10 weeks and you continue to grow like a weed. You continue to do well with nursing, but also take a bottle well. I love you my sweet baby girl. You make my heart just melt looking at you. I am amazed that you are so calm and patient. I look forward to getting to know you more as the months go on....I am so blessed to be your Mommy!

Lake Lure

I am sorry about put in posting these pics......I just plain forgot! We went to Lake Lure, NC (about an hour east of Asheville for our annual Cellon Cabin week. We met Grammie, Papa, Jonathan, Lindsay and Alice there.

Fun Weekend + BIG Taylor announcement

This weekend has been relaxing and rewarding. The best part for me was that Blair watched both girls during nap time while I went and got a couple of new outfits for this out-of-maternity clothes, but not-quite-skinny-enough-to-fit-in -my-old clothes stage. I hadn't shopped alone in awhile and I was a maniac :).

This was my CVS run this weekend. All this was FREE!!!! (acutally, I got paid 4cents :). Lots of school supplies, Razor and 3 bottles of Tylenol.

And, the biggest news of all....TAYLOR ROLLED OVER!! Wow- at only 10 weeks old.

Taylor 10 weeks

Taylor was 10 weeks on Wednesday! It is so hard to believe she is so big when she was so, so tiny only a few weeks ago.
Stats: at 9 weeks she was 11lbs 12oz (75%), 22inch long (50%) and her head was in the 75% (These are all very similar to Bailey's stats at this point). Dr. said she looked great, except all her skin issues.

-Sleeps from 8p-4am, eats and then sleeps till 8am! (same as Bailey)
-Takes 3-4 naps a day and can take them in her swing, pack n play or crib (something Bailey hardly ever did!)
-Is content most of the time and a smiley, talking joy.
-Is allergic to at least milk, probably eggs and maybe something else? Still has eczema no matter what we do.
-Is lifting head, cooing and rolls from back to side. She loves her swing and talking with her Daddy.

Cousin Alice let me borrow these cute socks! (Mommy is too cheap to buy them for me :().
