Beach Picnic

Saturday night the Cellon Clan headed to the beach for a dinner picnic and fun. While we were surprised and a little jaded about how much actual work was involved in the whole process (2hours of getting ready/cleaning up for 1 hour of fun:)), we know Bailey had a blast! Here are some pics.

Daddy and Bales testing out the waters (Bailey still isn't a big fan!)
BAILEY spelled out.

So, so, so dirty :).
Nothing tastes better than a spoon-full of sand....oh wait, isn't it sugar?

Sweet princess
Taylor did very well on our trip. The sounds seemed to relax her.

Daddy's girl

Birthday fun

We all went out to Texas Roadhouse for Blair's birthday and had a blast! We had a wonderful waitress that I trusted to ask about the rolls having eggs or not...she asked the cook and stressed the importance of any egg products. They are EGG FREE! Bailey ate a whole one with cinnamon butter :) I was so happy for her. I still couldn't have them due to the butter on top and all. Oh well...it helps with the diet! Blair ate a very yummy NY strip steak that he said was one of the best ever and had Starbucks coffee ice cream with dark chocolate chips for dessert.

Taylor just chillin
Awww! (Ok- she so looks like Blair!)
Happy Birthday dada

Start 'em young, Raise them right! (in honor of Blair's bday!)

Today is Blair's 29th Birthday! It feels so weird that both of us will soon be leaving the 20's....and have these two precious baby girls :). He is an awesome husband and father and we look forward to celebrating his day with him. (Thanks J and R for the Texas Roadhouse GC- we are going there tonight!).

I decided that the girls would wear their Gator gear in remembrance of such a special day.-
Taylor - her overalls say "little Gator" on them"

Bailey coloring her daddy a bday card
working hard!
Did you notice that she had all 5 crayons in her hand in the above pics? That's right folks, I got me a Talented colorer- 5 crayons at once! Oh, and we can color all over our highchair too (oops!)
I attempted to get pics of the girls together, but neither were too pleased...stay tuned today to see if I can capture some later on with Daddy!

a bow!

Bailey pointed to Taylor and saying "A BOW!". Notice Bailey clutching to Taylor's toy.....she is in a non-sharing phase that we are greatly working on. Taylor is looking cute as always. Can you believe how big both girls are getting?

Taylor 7 weeks

Taylor is now 7 weeks old! It is so hard to believe that only 7 weeks ago she was born. Things are settling into a routine around here and although I've had a few moments of insanity, overall things are going very well. I have learned that I need to stay completely home at least 2 days a week and not do more then one outing at a time when we do go out. Taylor continues to grow and grow. It was oh so confirmed that she has the same milk issues as her big sister. I tried pizza last week and IMMEDIATELY after I fed her she was fussy, refluxy and rashy. So long Mr. pizza and all things cheesy yummy goodness for now.

Bailey is having some toddler issues. She has started saying "mine" and repeats this word about a thousand times a day. She even has shared this new word with her friend Jace who also has picked it up (Sorry Allison!). Today, her friend Olivia came over and Bailey wouldn't let her play with any of her toys. Oh my. Already?

I have joined Weight Watchers online and have already lost a few pounds. Not eating anything with eggs/milk helps as we are eating almost every single meal at home and I have to forgo a lot of the yummy "extras" (cheese, ranch, cheese, cheese :)).

Blair is doing well at his new job.

What a good big sister!
So sweet! Bailey is the biggest cheese ever:)
Taylor was falling and Bailey reached for her hand- so cute
There is that monstrous Cheese face again
my sweet, content, lovely baby girl!

Milk Free, Egg Free Dinners

Since I am on yet another strict allergy diet for Taylor, we have been struggling to think of recipes that I can eat, Bailey will eat and that Blair will like. Below is our meal on Thursday...it was a big hit with all and super EASY (and frugal :)).

Crockpot Rotisserie Chicken

Whole chicken, washed and de-liverfied :)
Lemon Pepper seasoning
Rosemary

Place 4 balls of aluminum foil in bottom of CrockPot. Place chicken on top. Rub in Lemon Pepper and Rosemary. Cook on high 4 hours or low 8 or until done (recommend low for an even juicier chicken).

The chicken was just a couple of bucks at the commissary, and we so far have gotten 6 meals out of it and still have a little left!
Bisquick Biscuits served with pure honey
Sauteed frozen green beans with garlic and EVOO

Taylor is 6 weeks old.

Wednesday was Taylor's 6 week birthday. It has been a busy week and when I finally got around to uploading and making this post on Thurs., google was down.

Taylor is doing fairly well. We took a trip to the Pediatrician this week due to her rashes just continuing to get worse. Her left eyelid also swelled up to a concerning size.....The doctor said it was just a blocked tear duct and severe eczema. He suggested that it may be due to something I am eating, so we are back on the STRICTLY avoiding all Egg/Milk/Peanuts for now. It has been several days and I haven't really noticed a change in her rash though. So maybe it is just sensitive skin? Please pray her rash gets better though, it looks very painful and oozes and is yucky (this coming from someone who has seen a lot of yucky stuff!). Her behavior is still the same content baby, for which I am greatly thankful.

One benefit of going to the doctor, was we got to see her weight. It was 10lbs 3 oz! She is growing well :).

Most of this week she slept from 9:30pm-4:30pm. I have been able to get about 6 hours of sleep in a row most nights...which has been good.

My pretty girl
Trying out her first toy!
Lifting her head like a big girl- notice the rash, ouch!
All smiles :)

Thanks Mom and Dad!

My Mom and Dad were here for the past two weeks (dad took a trip to Ohio during that time too). They were both so, so helpful! Bailey loved all the attention and it allowed me some one on one time with Bailey as well (she was a little neglected by Mommy b/c of Taylor). Taylor loved being held by her Grandma (she had the special touch to get her to go to sleep). I loved all the help with cleaning, cooking, changing diapers and extra hands when we went out of the house.

Blair and I also got to go out on a "date" on Saturday without any kids for our 6 year anniversary coming up (June 14th)! It felt SO weird to not have to bring stuff in/out in/out. We went out to eat at a "nicer" rest. in Jacksonville and just enjoyed some time to talk without interruption. I think we need to make it a priority to do this at least once a month for the next few months, and then hopefully even more frequent until he deploys again.

Bailey is 21 months!

Bailey is 21 months old today. Here are a few of her latest happenings:

-Knows over half the alphabet
-Knows 1, 2, 4, 8, 9...
-Can say blue, pink, green, yellow, red but doesn't do so well with being consistent recognizing them
- loves her paci and lovey...we are struggling with leaving those in her crib for sleeping only.
-LOVES her "baby sister"- gives her kisses
-Is starting to understand consequences of disobedience, although she loves to test the limits!
-loves to color, and can use a pen, crayon or PRETZEL to do so :)
-has loved all the extra attention lately and will miss everyone when it is gone.

Taylor is 5 weeks old

Taylor is 5 weeks old....it is so hard to believe! She has been growing so much it will not surprise me if she is out of her 3 month clothes within the next few months. Her hands, feet, arms and legs are much longer then Bailey's seemed for sure. She is still nursing well and has eaten a few bottles and taken to those ok too! Such a huge relief after all the problems with Bailey. Taylor has begun to have a rash, but it looks more like the normal infant rash stuff (probably due to the heat/ sensitivity to detergents), not food allergy rash.

Everday is a little different as far as the sleeping goes. Some days she sleeps a lot, others she is awake quite a bit. Either way she is a pretty content baby. At night she normally goes about 5 hours, but gave me a gift of a 7 hour stretch one time this week!! She likes her paci and swing the most to help her go to sleep.

Milestones achieved: Lifting head very well, pushing up on arms a little bit when on belly. Coos, tracks with eyes and wakes up on own to eat (no more waking her up at night!)

Sharks and Fish, oh MY!

Today we went to the Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. It has been so hot here lately that we desperately needed a cool place to visit. It was well worth the drive and money. Bailey really seemed to enjoy the fish and sharks.

Here she is checking out the fishes.
Chomp, Chomp :). Bailey was a little hesitant to stand up there with me. Note Taylor hanging in her wrap .
Is it a Bailey crab?
Grandma and a distracted Bailey looking at everything else but THE camera!

Bailey the architect.

Daddy's girls! Boy, does he have his hands full :). Bailey just had to have her lovey, paci, bird and gator headband on for this pic!! Also take note of poor Taylor's receding hairline ;).
Look what I did!

Grandma helped me lots :)

Week of Fun

Last week was a good one visiting with my Mom. She is scheduled to stay until next Sunday...my Dad will be back from Ohio in a few days and be here for the conclusion as well. We will greatly miss all the help when they leave. I know Bailey will miss having her Grandma and Grandpa around to play with her!

We took our first trip to the O'Club pool this summer last week. Bailey had a blast with her friends Jace and Jonathan. She even kept her hat on for her Mommy most of the time ;). Now if we can just get her and Jace to stop trying to catch and eat the bugs.......
Taking a break from the pool and eating a snack
Bailey and her boyfriend, Jace...both enjoying their snack :)P
Isn't my bum just the cutest?
Bailey loving on Taylor!
